BRITISH MOVIE STAR ,ALAN RICKMAN DIES AT AGED 69

British movie and TV star Alan Rickman has passed on. He died in London. He was aged 69.

The acclaimed actor was at the forefront of British television in the last 30 years until he succumbed to cancer on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
His death was confirmed by close associates and family members.
He reportedly died “surrounded by family and friends”.
Rickman is famed for his ‘relaxed’ expressions in movies. He shot into limelight after appearing as Hans Gruber in Die Hard – a movie by Bruce Willis which was shot in 1988. He was 41 at the time.
He further gained global acclaim following his appearance as Professor Snape in theHarry Porter films.
According to The Guardian, he was loved and warmly admired for his contributions both as an actor and as a director. He was prominent in movies, on stage presentations and on TV.

He was reportedly politically active during his time as a leading actor and throughout his life.
The Guardian reported him as “a card-carrying member of the Labour party”.
Also, he was a huge part of charities that helped project artists from impoverished regions of the world.
Rickman was married to Rima Horton, his wife whom he met in 1965 and got married to in 2012.
