A convicted criminal was caught roasting and eating human flesh.
The 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly exhuming human remains, roasting them and eating the flesh. WWWN has more;
Police have identified the man as Njanji Lungu. Police said that Lungu, was seen eating human flesh in the cemetery.
The incident occurred between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Lungu was found with a human skull while roasting human flesh at the graveyard, claiming he was hungry, police said.
The grave which was exhumed by Lungu, belonged to a man who died two years ago.
Police said that a neighborhood watch committee alerted police when they went to the cemetery, where they found Lungu eating human flesh.
Police arrested the suspect on a charge of trespassing on a graveyard.
The suspect is a convicted criminal who once served a sentence of 18 months in prison for an unknown crime.
