Nigerian striker, Shola Ameobi has joined the League One side, Fleetwood Town till the end of the season.

He was previously a player of Bolton Wanderers also in the English football.

The 34-year-old Nigerian player who featured at the last world cup in Brazil had to leave the team because of their financial crisis and they should not offer him a deal but had to let go of him.
Shola Ameobi has featured for Newcastle, Gaziantep BB in the Turkish league and Crystal Palace before he joined Bolton Wanderers last season.
The former England U-21 will feature for the Cod Army until the end of the season.

“In January we signed a number of younger players and it was vital to the group that we brought in a player with experience,” manager of the team, Steven Pressley told the club website.
“We certainly couldn’t get any more experience than Shola and we are absolutely delighted with that. He is not only a very good player; he is a terrific character that can bring a lot to the group. ”
