
Nigerian striker, Shola Ameobi has joined the League One side, Fleetwood Town till the end of the season.
He was previously a player of Bolton Wanderers also in the English football.
The 34-year-old Nigerian player who featured at the last world cup in
Brazil had to leave the team because of their financial crisis and they
should not offer him a deal but had to let go of him.Shola Ameobi has featured for Newcastle, Gaziantep BB in the Turkish league and Crystal Palace before he joined Bolton Wanderers last season.
The former England U-21 will feature for the Cod Army until the end of the season.

“We certainly couldn’t get any more experience than Shola and we are absolutely delighted with that. He is not only a very good player; he is a terrific character that can bring a lot to the group. ”
“In January we signed a number of younger players and it was vital to the group that we brought in a player with experience.
“It is vital that he has been playing as sometimes unattached players at this stage in the season, the one thing they are lacking is a level of fitness.
“Shola has been involved at Bolton Wanderers on a regular basis for the vast majority of the season and he is raring to go ahead of Saturday’s trip to Port Vale,” he concluded.
