
Nigerian music artist Seyi Shay is fast
paving way for herself in the music industry as she recently announced
her plans to go on tour around Africa following the release of her
album, Seyi Or Shay.
After suffering from a breakup in the past, rumor has it that the
Irawo crooner as found love again as she gushed about her new lover. In a
recent interview with TW Magazine, Seyi Shay said:
“I am in a very lovely relationship and I am happy about it. I am not going to talk so much about him but he is like my father and my best friend. Yes, he is Nigerian. I have known him for about a year now and he has made a big impact in my life. We are not ready to announce anything yet because I need to be focused. His family knows me and my family knows him and that is what matters.”
Seyi Shay who on Friday, November 13, launched her album at the Eko Hotel and suites, also recently speaks on how she feels underrated and neglected in the music industry.
The new album is titled Seyi Or Shay. The event was held at the Eko Hotel and suites and had many a-list artists in attendance.
Singer Omawumi was spotted at the gig, as well as Toke Makinwa, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Sound Sultan, Asa, Cobhams, Niniola, Chidinma, Jesse Jagz, Cynthia Morgan, Fade Ogunro, Anita ‘Omalicha’ Isedeh, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi and a host of others.
