SHOCKING, 3 NURSING STUDENTS ARRESTED FOR DEFILING A 6 YEAR OLD GIRL

Three male students of the School of Nursing, Benin city in Edo state have been arrested for allegedly defiling 6 year old Miss Sharon Eghobamien pictured above, a pupil of Eriya Group of Schools, Ihogbe, Benin-City, Edo State, at her mother’s shop in Benin city on May 25th.

According to Vanguard, Sharon’s mother Mrs. Eghobamien, a casual worker in the school of Nursing, noticed that her daughter had been walking in an unusual manner and constantly complained of abdominal pains, urinating frequently and defecating.

When she interrogated her, Sharon revealed that the three male students named Kennedy, Paul Aghama and Jeffery usually come to the shop when she wasn’t around and took her to their room in their hostel where they took their turns to defile her.

“I begin to question her and she then told me that whenever I am not in the shop, these boys always took her away through the window to their hostels to defile her. I took her to the Central Hospital Benin where she was examined by a doctor and it was discovered that she had been defiled and her hymen was already broken.

I then reported the case at the Aideyan Police Station, Benin City and from there it was transferred to Esigie Police Station, the section in charge of defilement cases in Benin.

While police officers at Esigie Police Station were carrying out discreet investigation to unravel the intrigues behind the defilement as instructed by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. James Ezike, the suspects and their cohorts concocted a frivolous petition to the office of the AIG, Zone 5.”she said

Mrs Eghobamien said while the suspects under investigation by the state Police Command were in detention, some officials of the School of Nursing approached her, asking her to withdraw the case from the police. Her refusal cost her her shop in the school premises and she was also deprived of removing her wares in the her shop since then.

She said that her life was threatened and following the boasting from the suspects that they have some powerful individuals, who would use their positions to influence the Office of the AIG, Zone 5 investigating the case to give them a safe landing.

This prompted her to contact a Benin based legal practitioner, Olayiwola Afolabi, who immediately petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, over the matter. In the petition, her lawyer appealed to the IGP to allow an independent panel of police investigators in- charge of defilement matters other than those from the office of the AIG Zone 5 to conduct fresh investigation into the,matter.

According to Mr Afolabi, certain powerful persons had used their positions to influence the office of the AIG, Zone 5 to sweep the heinous crime under the carpet and more so, cases of rape fall under the purview of the state Police Command.

“To our greatest chagrin, our client was told that the said investigation report contains among other things that her daughter, who is only six years old is the one responsible for her broken hymen by using instruments to penetrate her vagina; this fact only points to one direction, that the boasting of the suspects was true.

The curious thing about this matter is that while the case was pending at AIG Zone 5, Ministry of Health officers that oversee the School of Nursing called our client to come with her daughter that was defiled.

After our client and her daughter had made statement to them, they began to ask her what exactly she wanted with the case at the AIG Zone 5, using her words. We have laboured to bring before the Inspector General of Police the various intrigues associated with this case due to the fact that the family of the victim has no money but we believe the Inspector General of Police is only our hope in this matter,” he said.

The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has received their petition and has asked for a fresh investigation into the matter which is to be handled by the Edo state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezkike, through his Principal Staff Officer, Idowu Owohunwa (ACP).

ANGRY MOTHER POURS HOT WATER ON DAUGHTERS LOVER,SEE AFTERMATH

An angry mother has bathed a 30-year-old man with hot water at Olodi Apapa area of Lagos
State, after she discovered he was dating her 15-year-old daughter.reports from the new telegraph was that,

The man, Jude Alulomo, a tanker driver, said that the
hot water affected most of his body, including his private part. He was rushed to the hospital.

But, Alulomo is now threatening to sue the girl’s parents unless they allow to marry her.

The incident occurred on September 24, around 9pm, when Alulomo, who hails from Edo State, went to visit his lover.

According to Alulomo, he went to visit his girlfriend, Ashanbi, at their Oyegunle Street residence, but never knew his lover’s mother was planning to attack him. He said: “As I was waiting for Ashanbi to come out from their apartment to see me, her mother suddenly came out with hot water.

She poured it on me.

The hot water affected my jaw, down to my private part.” Alulomo vowed that it was either they allowed him to marry the girl in compensation for what he was suffering or let the law take its course.

EMIR OF KANO,SANUSI,GIVES REASONS FOR GETTING MARRIED TO HIS 18 YR OLD WIFE FOLLOWING CONTROVERSIES

Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II has responded to criticisms following his marriage to 18 year old Sa'adatu Barkindo-Musdafa last week. In a private email sent to select people which has leaked to many social media platforms, he explained why he decided to marry Sa'adatu. Read below

"I am sure NC members all have their views and have kept quiet out of (appropriate) deference to our right to make our individual choice. Obviously I do not need to explain anything to anyone in a purely personal matter but a few points are worthy of note:

1. The lady in question is 18 and thererfore legally of age to marry under all laws and certainly inder Muslim law

2. She is proceeding for her undergraduate education in the UK in january. She had an A in computer science in her O levels and plans to get a degree in computer science

3 each and everyone of my wives is a university graduate and some have worked and fhen stopped and in each case the choice was purely theirs

4. It is a tradition in Kano that emirs and princes in choosing wives consider issues beyond the individual. The family is in every sense a social unit. My predecessor was married to princesses from Ilorin, Katsina and Somoto

5 The relationship between the late Lamido of Adamawa Aliyu Musdafa the father of the current Lamido is well known. Lamido Aliyu was the first emir turbanned after emir Sanusi I and they remained close until Sanusi’s death. 

6. My own relationship with the current Lamido dates back to 1981 when he was Ciroma and commissioner for works. By the way the Lamido and I are not illiterates we know what we are doing and he does have a PhD in Engineering

7. My own mother was married in Adamawa and lived there for more than two decades and I have eight younger brothers and sisters from there

8 it is therefore natural that if I choose to marry from another kingdom Adamawa would be the first choice for me and I am extremely happy to strengthen these ling historical bonds

9. The young lady in question gave her free consent and even after the contract the wedding will not happen for a few years. By then she may be 21. If she freely consents to this I do not know on what moral grounds anyone has a grouse. She is an adult, she gave her consent, her education is not being in anyway interrupted. 

10. The real issue is that people do not accept cultural difference. And you can see it in the approach to these issues. I am supposed to be urbane and western educated. Yes but i am not european. I am a northern Nigerian Fulani Muslim brought up in a setting exactly like the one my children are being brought up in. 

If you read this and it improves your understanding of this issue that is fine. If it does not justvremember it us not your life, it is not your daughter and you are not my wife therefore it is not your business. 

I obviously cannot stoop to the level of responding publicly to these kinds of articles. I have always been an advocate of girls marrying after maturing. I personally like the minimum age of 18 even though i understand those who say 16 is fine and indeed this is the law in most so calked @advanced@ countries. 

Is this something that I expect a european or western trained or feminist mind to appreciate or endorse? Not at all. But has any american been bothered about my views on men marrying men or women marrying women which frankly I find primitive and bestial? No and my views do not matter. These are cultural issues. 

Even in Nigeria I have heard all this stuff as in Pius article about “north” and northerners. Again it is a failure to respect difference. There are parts if this country where parents expect their daughters to live with their boyfriends for years and actually get pregnant before they marry. It has become culture. We do not have that in the north and if your daughter gets pregnant before marriage she brings nothing but shame to the name. But we do not issue condemnations. We agree that this is how they choose to live. And i can give many other examples. 

When people use the term libido they do themselves injustice. First of all it shows how they view women and marriage. Women are nothing but the object of sexual desire. Marriage is nothing but sexual gratification. Well I am sorry but in my tradition it is not. Beauty and attraction rank third after religion and lineage in the choice of a wife. They see an 18 year old young lady. I see a princess of noble birth whose mother is also a princess, and who has been brought up in a good muslim home. This is the kind of woman that is prepared for hiving birth to princes and bringing them up for the role expected of them in society. 

Martiage is both social and political. Expanding the links of kano which have already been established by my predecessors through inter marriage with katsina, sokoto, ilorin, katagum, ningi, bauchi etc to adamawa is an important and signifant step and this is obvious to anyone with a sense of how royal families work and Ibn Khaldun’s sociological concept of Asabiyyah. When the emir of Kano marries it has to be something beyond what he oersonally desires to what is appropriate for that position and the expectations of the people he represents. You dont just pick up any girl on the street. And by the way for thise who shout libido sex is cheap and available everywhere in all shapes and sizes and all colours if that is what they want. And all ages too. Martiage is a very different proposition. The mother of your children has to be something other than, ot at least much more than a mere object of sexual fantasy. But if you do not know that you need to buy yourself a brain. 

I have daughters. And they know they can only marry from certain backgrounds. I always prefer family. When my daughter wanted to marry mouftah baba ahmed’s son and she asked me, knowing my views on family, i told her mouftah is family. And this is not about me and mouftah or me an hakeem or nafiu. No. It goes back to Baba Ahmed and Emirs Sanusi and Bayero. And the same rule applies to my sons. And it applied to me as well. 

It is I am sure very strange that I should even bother to comment on this. But it would be hypocritical for me to just keep quiet so long as these things are being posted and commented upon explicitly or in a snide manner. There was no secrecy in the marriage fatiha. The date was fixed and it was to be done in the central mosque after friday prayers. The day before we had a tragedy in Saudi Arabia and decided the fatiha must be very low key as a mark of respect for the dead. All traditional rulers in adamawa were there, as were governors and commissioners, members of my own emirate council and adamawa people. There is nothing here to hide or be apologetic about. 

The emirs of adamawa have shown love to my parents and grandparents and it is a sign of my appreciation of their love that i marry their daughter. This is the highest statement of friendship and loyalty on both sides. 

Again if you understand this this is fine. If you do not buy yourself a brain, A la Pius.

Cervical cancer is by far the most common HPV-related disease. Nearly all cases of cervical cancer, which is the leading cause of death in women, can be attributed to HPV infection.

Chris Brown and his baby mama Nia Guzman have settled their custody war, right down to the official name of their child, according to TMZ 

Sources connected with the case tell us, Chris and Nia have agreed to joint physical and legal custody. He'll get their 1-year-old 12 days out of the month, and there will be no supervised visitation. As for the baby's name ... they've agreed she's Royalty Brown -- no middle name.

And we're told Chris will pay Nia $2,500 a month. He's also paying her $15k in back support. Chris also has to pay for Royalty's schooling, health insurance, medical bills and nannies.

And we're told the drug test Chris submitted to during the custody hearing has come back positive for both weed and codeine, but we're told he had a prescription for both. The settlement is subject to a judge's approval.

GOOD OR BAD? POLICE OFFICER SENTENCED TO DEATH BY HANGING

A Police Inspector identified as Samuel Timothy was today sentenced to death by hanging by a Rivers state High Court for shooting and killing a sachet water dealer, Onyekachi Nwasouba at No. 34, Old Aba Road, Port Harcourt on November 10th 2010.

According to court documents, the deceased who is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry was wrongfully shot at and killed by a team of police officers led by Inspector Timothy after they wrongfully branded the deceased an armed robber.

They shot at him despite his repeated plea that he was not an armed robber but only a sachet water dealer. In a three hours ruling, the trial judge, Justice Adolphus Enebeli, said that the convict (Timothy) demonstrated an act of inhumanity through his action.

He said the testimonies given by witnesses at the scene of the incident, pointed to the fact that Timothy was an “Inhuman, trigger-happy policeman, who engages in murder; a hater of humankind and a merciless killer.”

“According to Section 319 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I do not have the power to reduce your sentence. That, you, Inspector Timothy Sampson be hanged on your neck until you are dead,” he said. Timothy who had served in the Nigeria Police for 33 years was due for retirement in the next two years when this incident happened.

POLICE FINALLY AGREE TO THEIR CUSTODY OF MR OJO EMMANUEL

Earlier today a news feed was posted here about a blogger who was arrested without rights to a lawyer,now see what is the latest,asthe Ogun state police command has confirmed the arrest of Emmanuel Ojo, a blogger, for allegedly publishing a Facebook post where he accused the first lady of Ogun state, Oufunsho Amosun of allegedly laundering $300,000 in London. Ojo did a story a while back, alleging that the wife of the Ogun State governor was quizzed in London for money laundering, a story the state government has described as false. Mrs Amosun also denied the allegations.

The police public relations officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, while confirming Emmanuel's arrest, said the police command received a complaint from the state government over what they termed a false publication.

He said Emmanuel is currently being detained at the command’s headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, for questioning.

“We received a complaint from the state government on the suspect, and he was arrested. Presently he is with us at Eleweran, we are still conducting our investigations. If he is found wanting he will be charged to court accordingly.” he told Vanguard.

Meanwhile the Secretary to the State government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, confirmed that the state government indeed lodged a complaint to the police against the blogger but however claimed the governor was not involved.

13YR OLD BOY GET $7,500 AS PHOTO WAS TAKING OF HIM STUDYING OUTSIDE METRO STATION

The 13-year-old Harendra Singh Chauhan whose picture is viewed above got a check for 500,000 rupees (approximately $7,500) from the Uttar Pradesh government after a photo of him studying on the ground outside the Noida City Centre metro station in Noida, India, went viral on Facebook.

Harendra was photographed outside the metro station with his notebooks and a scale where he was studying and at the same time weighing passers-by to make small money.

The post was shared by Vikas Sharda, who called on people at the station to use his services and help him get back to his studies. The post grabbed the attention of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, who was moved by Chuahan's story and gave him the money to help fund his education.

Adebayo Oyetayo Ismaila (pictured above) was reportedly murdered in cold blood by he's mentally unstable younger brother popularly known as African Michael Jackson. According to a TB source, the unfortunate incident happened on Friday Sept 25th at Okene Street, Rumoukwurushi in PH.

After a neighbour alerted other residents of the area about what had happened, an angry mob descended on the younger brother and beat him mercilessly.
